This page lists every dataset this site is built from, how big each one is, when it was pulled and what it is missing. It matters because you should be able to go and check any number here yourself.
The short version
Four datasets: the Census of India 2011 village directory for 72 villages, the ASR-2011 agricultural rate book with 2,764 rate rows, the development authority's 22 village boundary list, and our own developer and project directory. Their gaps are printed too, including that neither 2011 record has a Dholera taluka in it.
What this page is
This page lists every dataset the site is built from, how big it is, when it was extracted and what it supports. If you want to check a figure, this is where you find out which file it came out of.
The datasets
| Dataset | Size | Extracted | What it supports here | Class |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Census of India 2011, village directory, Ahmadabad district | 72 village records, 396 columns | Extracted 4 August 2026 | 23 ranked pages and the census half of 50 village records | OFFICIAL |
| Annual Statement of Rates, ASR-2011 Final, agricultural land, Ahmedabad district | 2,764 rate rows across 69 villages | Extracted 4 August 2026 | 4 rate pages and the rate half of 50 village records | OFFICIAL |
| DSIRDA boundary village list | 22 villages | As printed on the authority's boundary map | The inside or outside flag on every village | OFFICIAL |
| dholeraSTOP developer directory and project index | 60 developers, 109 projects | Google ratings from a 16 July 2026 scrape | The 50 builder and project guides | REPORTED |
What is missing from them
Every dataset has holes. Hiding them is how a site ends up asserting things its source never said, so here are the ones that matter.
| Gap | What it means for this site |
|---|---|
| Census 2011 has no Dholera taluka | Dholera taluka was created in 2015. Villages here file under Dhandhuka or Barwala. |
| ASR-2011 has no Dholera taluka either | The rate book predates the taluka. Dholera appears as a village inside Dhandhuka, on pages 494 to 497. |
| No current jantri in this dataset | Every rate here is the 18 April 2011 edition. The 2023 revision is a different document and is not quoted anywhere on this site. |
| Amenity data is from 2009 | The Census published in 2011 but surveyed amenities in 2009. Nothing here describes current conditions. |
| No official per plot market price exists for Dholera | There is no government market rate. Any rupee per square yard figure you see anywhere is a seller's number, and we do not publish one. |
How the figures are produced
The pages on this site are generated by a program that reads these files and writes the HTML. No figure is typed into a page by hand, which means a rebuild cannot quietly drift away from the source, and a correction to the data corrects every page that uses it at once.
The method behind the ordering, the merging and the labelling is set out on its own page.
